Favorite PB Venues

I get asked all the time where I love to play, so I put together a list of some of my all-time favorite venues. I've been lucky enough to teach, travel, and compete at some incredible places, and while Side Out is my home base and #1, here are some other standouts worth checking out:
Indoor Venues
Flying Pickle – Boise, Idaho
18 courts, including championship courts
Highlights: Cushioned courts with great spacing, slick modern design, easy viewing areas, and beer on tap 🍻
Chicken N Pickle – Multiple Locations
I’ve played at both Kansas City and Glendale
Highlights: Indoor/outdoor courts, high-energy party vibe, fantastic food & drinks, and a super fun layout
Vila Pickleball Barcelona, Spain
4 courts
Highlights: One of the few dedicated pickleball facilities in Spain, this venue stands out not just for the courts—but for the people. The local owners and players bring an infectious, one-of-a-kind spirit that makes every visit feel like a celebration.
🌴 Outdoor Venues
Pik N Pad – Nuevo Vallarta, MX
6 pickleball courts + 3 padel courts
Highlights: Pickleball and padel in one spot, awesome staff, great bar and viewing setup, and sunshine for days ☀️
I will be hosting camps and a tournament here this February!
Life Time San Clemente – San Clemente, CA
So many courts it’s hard to count 😅
Highlights: Pristine facility, hosts the PPA Orange County Cup, championship courts, and stunning views
Newport Beach Tennis & Pickleball Club – Newport Beach, CA
31 lit, dedicated courts
Highlights: Elevated viewing decks, championship courts, clubhouse with food, and world class fitness center
Paradise Pickleball – Palm Desert, CA
21 courts
Highlights: Amazing owners, views of the mountain range and palm trees, unique court color scheme, Cali sunshine

Newport Beach Tennis & Pickleball Club – Newport Beach, CA
31 lit, dedicated courts
Highlights: Elevated viewing decks, championship courts, clubhouse with food, and that unbeatable SoCal weather
🏞️ Public Courts
Yost Park – Edmonds, WA
8 outdoor courts
Highlights: 5 minutes from home, chill atmosphere, slower-paced play, rarely too busy, plus a beautiful park and an epic public pool
Pine Nursery Park – Bend,OR
16 outdoor courts
Highlights: Lively pickleball community. host to awesome Oregon tournaments, lots of outdoor activities close by
🏰 Most Unique Venue
Armory Pickleball – Bellingham, WA
5 courts inside a literal castle (a repurposed military armory)
Highlights: One-of-a-kind building, amazing owner and community, super welcoming and relaxed

You didn’t think I’d forget this one, right? 😏
We’re getting closer every day to opening the best indoor pickleball facility ever—featuring 26 cushion courts, championship-level play, video replay, lounge areas, and more. I cannot wait for you all to see it!
